Before Grace and I ever exchanged a single message, she already knew that an invisible Fayo existed
She heard about me through my brother, Femi, and my sister, Adetoun, who worked at the same office as her.
During their lunch conversations, my name kept coming up, my lifestyle, personality, and everything I was involved into. The more she heard, the more curious she became. Funny enough, we were completely different.
I wasn’t much of a social person and preferred a quiet life. Grace, on the other hand, carried a vibrant Gen-Z energy—full of life, expressive, and effortlessly magnetic.
On paper, we should never have crossed paths. Still, she didn’t stop being curious. Then one night, Adetoun sent me a message: “There’s this lady called Grace. I think you should meet her.” I replied: “Okay, let’s see.”
I didn’t know that those words would change everything. That evening, I texted her. The moment I saw her picture, I thought: “Wow… God really took His time with this one.”
And just like that, casual messages became conversations I didn’t want to end… and something deeper slowly began.
Looking back, it was never random. Just God quietly writing our story. From “let’s see”… to forever.
